Galway's PeopleTalk pilot aims to give a grassroots say on Government reform.

This was the headline on page 7 of this week's  Connaught Tribune. Pat Coyle, PeopleTalk spokesperson is quoted at length 'Government has grown like topsey... The result is a hugely somplex system, unwieldy and fifficult for most peopleto conprehend. And despite its size and complexity, some people are falling through the cracks... The PeopleTalk Project has got buy-in from the highest level of political leadershihp and right across the political spectrum..' PeopleTalk is being piloted in Galway at the invitation of the County Council and with the active support of the Galway County Community Forum, which is a network made up no less than 600 community groups and voluntary organisations around the county.
